AMERICAN HOROLOGY
Waltham museums and exhibitions harbors watches and clocks that have contributed significantly to the greatness of America, as well as memorabilia and vintage advertising and signage. A journey into American horology and the American industrial revolution, spread across multiple significant locations in Waltham.
Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation
It is located at the Francis Cabot Lowell Mill site at 154 Moody Street in Waltham.
It is the greatest collection of items and archives related to the Waltham Watch Company. The "Nikola Tesla: The Speed of Innovation" temporary exhibition, running from June 2026 through April 2027, explores the partnership that led to the first Air Friction Speedometer.

The Waltham Watch Factory Museum Exhibit
It is located in the actual lobby of the former Waltham Watch Factory at 221 Crescent Street and curated by the Charles River Museum and the Waltham Historical Society.

The Waltham Museum
It is housed in a former police station at 25 Lexington Street in Waltham.
Only open by appointment, this Museum is run by volunteers who maintain and preserve a selection of Waltham watches and clocks.
